Changes & Updates to CCI Credentials & Policies
In an effort to support our certified nurses in staying current with CCI requirements, this page outlines recent and upcoming changes communicated by CCI in our monthly newsletters, on social media or other informational sources.
This information will be updated as needed and it is recommended that those holding a CCI credential check back often to ensure they are in the loop with upcoming changes.
Credential Updates
- 2024
- ⚬ Job Analysis to take place
- ⚬ $40 Discount will be available to active CCI credential holders applying for a secondary CCI credential
- ⚬ An Early Bird Recertification Discount of $40 will be available to any nurse who recertifies by June 30th
- ⚬ No refunds of the initial or recertification application fee paid will be provided to applicants that do not successfully pass the random audit
- ⚬ Launching of CNOR Specialty Designations - PEDS, ORTHO, and SURG-OB
- 2025
- Reaccreditation with ABSNC & NCCA
- 2023
- Removal of Certification Components took place, CFPN is now fully Certification by Examination
