Known Limitations & Notes

First Login May Require Password Reset

All returning users may be prompted to reset their password when logging in to the new CMS for the first time. This is an expected and intentional security measure as part of the system migration.

Paper Applications No Longer Accepted

Effective May 4, 2026, CCI no longer accepts paper certification or recertification applications. All applications must be submitted through the new online CMS. Contact CCI support if you have questions about a paper application submitted before this date.

Active Issues & Fixes Being Worked On

Course Completion Points During System Update

Nurses may notice that any CCI courses completed on April 29 or during the recent system blackout are not yet visible in their accounts.

We are in the process of gathering course completion notifications and will ensure that the corresponding activity points are imported and credited to your profile. No further action is required from nurses at this time.

Email Delivery to Junk Mail After Account Creation or First Log-in

Some users experienced emails being delivered to their junk or spam folder after creating an account or logging in for the first time. While this is being reviewed, please check. your junk folder for emails.

Recert Application Access Timing

Currently, users are unable to open their recertification application until their final year. While you can enter points and other information, you are not able to assign them to your recertification yet, which means you cannot get an accurate picture of your progress.

We are actively working on a solution that will allow users to open the recert app at any time to enter points directly toward their recertification. However, payment will only be enabled when it is due.

Resolved Issues

ReCAPTCHA Error When attempting to log in

Users reported receiving the following “ERROR for site owner: invalid key type”. This has been corrected and users should no longer receive this notice.

Initial Certification Applications Not Available Until May 7

Initial Certification Application functionality is intentionally not available at launch. It will go live on May 7, 2026 as part of the secondary launch phase. This is expected behavior, not a bug.
