Melissa R. Nosik

CEO
Melissa R. Nosik, PhD, BCBA-D, ICE-CCP, SHRM-SCP is the Chief Executive Officer of the Competency & Credentialing Institute. Her professional interests include professional credentialing, assessment, non-profit association management, regulation, governance practices, and leadership training. Dr. Nosik has 25 years of experience practicing and overseeing organizations in healthcare. She has served as a board member and on the advisory boards of several nonprofit organizations at the national and state level and values giving her time back to the credentialing and assessment communities as a volunteer.

Melissa McKewen

Melissa McKewen is a seasoned marketing and communications professional, currently serving as Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI). With a Master of Business Administration degree specializing in marketing, Melissa has a solid foundation for driving organizational growth and innovation. She has swiftly ascended through various roles, showcasing exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. Her strong leadership skills empower her team to drive successful outcomes across various platforms, positioning CCI for continued success in credentialing and assessment.

Mai-Linh King

Mai-Linh King, MS, BCBA, CPTM, is the Director of Organizational Systems at the Competency & Credentialing Institute. With over 15 years of experience in the fields of organizational behavior management and credentialing, she is dedicated to making improvements in performance, systems, culture, and learning outcomes within credentialing organizations. She is passionate about working on mission-driven humanitarian initiatives, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues to create positive and lasting change.

Tabitha Kinlaw

Director of Credentialing Services
Tabitha Kinlaw MBA, DNP, MSN(Ed), RN, NPDA-BC, NPD-BC, CNOR-ORTHO, ONC is the Director of Credentialing Services of the Competency & Credentialing Institute. Her professional interests include professional credentialing, assessment, and leadership.
Dr. Kinlaw holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Edgewood University and dual master’s degrees in nursing education and business administration. She is board-certified in multiple specialties, including Nursing Professional Development, Perioperative Nursing, and Orthopaedic Nursing.
With over 30 years of experience spanning clinical, academic, and executive leadership roles, Dr. Kinlaw brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to credentialing. Her career has included service as a circulator, team leader, charge nurse, manager, and educator—each role sharpening her understanding of the real-world impact of validated competencies and lifelong learning.
At CCI, Dr. Kinlaw oversees the strategic direction and operational execution of credentialing programs that serve thousands of nursing professionals nationwide. Her leadership ensures that CCI’s credentialing programs remain rigorous, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of the healthcare workforce. She leads with strategic vision, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to advancing the standards of nursing through high-impact certification programs.
