Certification Committee Call for Nominations
The CCI Certification Committee is now accepting nominations for a two-year term of service beginning in Spring 2026.
The Certification Committee provides leadership and oversight of CCI’s certification programs, ensuring alignment with national accreditation standards and CCI’s mission, vision, and values.
Please note: While serving on the Certification Committee, members who intend to sit for CCI examinations in the future will not participate in the relevant discussion, decisions, or examination development of those CCI certification exams.
Position Obligations
- Participate in a minimum of three committee meetings per year.
- Serve on the Reconsiderations & Ethics Committee.
- Respond promptly to email correspondence.
- Dedicate at least 20 hours per year to document review and meeting preparation.
- Maintain a clear understanding of confidentiality requirements associated with committee service.
Eligibility Requirements
- Individuals must hold an active NPDA-BC certification or CNAMB certification.
- Employed in a practice role.
Exclusions
- Individuals serving on advanced specialty nursing certification boards or professional associations in perioperative nursing.
- Individuals involved in exam preparation activities.
- Individuals who are not directly practicing with their NPDA-BC or CNAMB certification.
