Nurse.com is reporting on the Critical Care Nurses’ Work Environments 2008 study. The study found that "nurses consistently rated their relationships with managers and the quality of care higher when their facilities supported certification and continuing education."
The study, which was done in collaboration with American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, found that not only are nurses more satisfied with their jobs when their facility supports certification, but that certified nurses "are more confident and make less errors."
