Brandon G. Bennett

Bennett is an experienced health care leader with expertise in operations, executive leadership, and change management. His professional practice and transformational leadership focuses on organizational transformation to produce sustainable change, improved patient outcomes, and organizational objectives. Bennett has worked in the specialty area of perioperative nursing for over 20 years, in positions that range from Staff Nurse to Assistant Vice President. He also has additional executive leadership experience as Interim Chief Nursing Executive and Chief Operating Officer. He has been an active member of AORN, serving on professional committees and presenting numerous times at AORN conferences. In 1984, Bennett was recognized by AORN for being the first graduate-level student to propose clinical research in perioperative nursing. In 2012, Bennett completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in clinical leadership and publication-ready research manuscript investigating evidence-based practice in the perioperative setting. Bennett recently served as the Interim Vice President, Perioperative Services for a major academic medical center.
