Casting your vote is quick, easy and ensures that your voice is heard!  Detailed instructions are available online.  Voting is open until Midnight, November 23rd.  If you do not have access to the CCI Web site, please contact CCI at 888-257-2667 to request a paper ballot.  Please note that all paper ballots must be postmarked by November 23rd.  Voting is confidential and handled by an independent third-party, and you may only vote once. 

Voting allows you the opportunity to stay active in your community and set the course for future directions.  As an added incentive, CCI will automatically enter anyone casting a ballot into a drawing to win a free recertification (the number of free recertifications awarded will be based on the number of voters).

CCI to Establish Independent Certificant Database

CCI and our member organization partner, AORN, work closely together in many ways. We have similar missions and serve many of the same customers. While we work in partnership on many activities and have thousands of shared customers, we are separately governed and managed.

Historically, CCI and AORN have shared a customer database. That has been beneficial in some areas and has in general served us well for many years. However, it has become necessary to now separate these databases for both strategic and operational reasons.

So what does this separation of databases mean to you? As a CNOR or CRNFA, it is important that you maintain accurate records with CCI so that we can communicate with you about the status of your credential or any change in eligibility requirements. Therefore you will need to remember the following: 

• When you change your address with AORN you will need to do so separately with CCI. 
• If you want to maintain contact hour records online in order to use them for your CNOR or CRNFA recertification, you will need to enter all of your records in the CCI contact hour database. You will no longer be able to automatically attach your AORN contact hour records to your recertification application. 
• For those of you who have established a CCI profile, your CCI username and password will remain the same. For those of you with an AORN username and password, it will continue to be the same.
