Brief Overview

  • The second day kicks off with a large-group discussion on key learning experiences and insights from the previous day. We'll continue building on the ongoing mapping of ideas and strategies.
  • The large group will break out into smaller issue-specific groups to tackle the challenges outlined in the previous day's visioning exercise. These small breakout groups will be led by a facilitator with process and voting tools.
  • Back in the large group, members from each room will present their dialogue to the rest of the participants, with graphic recorders capturing content. The entire group will then respond to the ideas, present additional solutions and challenges, set up research and action-planning discussions, as well as the afternoon's voting exercise.
  • The rest of the day will be spent in the large-group setting, discussing the most effective way to move the conversation into action through a research and action agenda with a voting exercise.
  • The day will close with the ARS voting on prioritized actions, encouraging participants to vote for the strategies or groups of strategies in which they want to participate and/or maintain involvement.
