CCI Think Tank participants are part of a select group committed to bringing to life a vision of competency development in healthcare, advancing patient safety, and improving the quality of patient care. To date, two Think Tanks have convened:

The CCI Think Tank 2005 focused on how we can use the latest in learning technologies and methodologies to build a bridge between competency and patient safety. Bridging the Gap between Patient Safety and Healthcare Provider Competency, the Pre-Meeting White Paper, addresses barriers and strategies for change. The Post-Meeting White Paper documents the dialogue and findings from this innovative, cutting-edge event.

The CCI Think Tank 2007 again brought a group of leading nursing experts together to discuss the elements of effective continued competency methods.
