Patient Positioning |
The RN performs activities to ensure that the patient is placed in a position that maintains body alignment for the prevention of patient injuries. This module provides the basic knowledge and skills necessary for safe and effective patient positioning for patient care areas, including endoscopy suites, ambulatory surgery units, physicians’ offices, cardiac catheterization suites, radiology departments, and all other areas where procedures may be performed. ©2005.
