The Cultural Diversity Reference Book updates the information from the original Cultural Diversity Competency Module.

This reference book is designed for nurse leaders, educators, clinical practitioners, and nursing students who are interested in gaining knowledge of transcultural nursing concepts to apply to patient-centered care. The Joint Commission emphasizes the importance of assessing a patient’s cultural context in helping to determine response to illness and treatment.
