Recertify by Contact Hours

To recertify by contact hours, you are required to earn 125 contact hours, of which 75 hours must be related to perioperative nursing, within a five year period. In order to use any continuing education activity, you will need to have received a certificate of completion awarding you contact hours from one of the acceptable accredited providers.  You will need to enter and maintain these contact hours in your CCI online account (more information below).

If you are due to recertify in 2012, you may apply for recertification by contact hours now.   If you are due to recertify in 2013, online applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2013.
