Created by educators for educators, The Certificate Program for Surgical Services Educator focuses on developing and refining skills that are essential to the surgical services educator and/or staff development director. The program is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and ability to function in this role regardless of experience level or educational background.
Published by CCI, the governing body of the CNOR and CRFNA credentials, this certificate program provides easy-to-use tools to develop and implement quality, cost effective orientation and professional development opportunities for perioperative staff.
The program consists of seven self-paced modules and corresponding multiple choice tests to assess mastery of the subject areas. Upon successful completion of the program, participants may reference that they hold a certificate as a surgical services educator.
If you purchased the original Certificate Program for Surgical Services Educators but did not complete the activities, you may still earn your certificate of mastery and 11.3 contact hours. Please call CCI at 888-257-2667, and our customer service team will give you the information to access the multiple choice post-tests.
Target Audience
While the intended audience is perioperative registered nurses in the educator or staff development role, this program has been used and recommended by facility-wide educators.
