CRNFA Recertification by Exam Fees
To recertify by exam, the fee for AORN members is $425, and $550 for non-members.
Testing Service
CCI contracts with a professional testing service to develop and score the CRNFA exam, and with a computer-based testing organization to administer the CRNFA exam at testing centers nationwide.
CRNFAs recertifying by exam can test during the second, third, and fourth quarters. If you take the exam in the second quarter and don't pass, you may apply to retake the test in the third or fourth quarter, provided you meet the appropriate deadline. If you don't take the exam by the fourth quarter, or you don't pass, you must wait until the first quarter of the next year to reapply. In all cases, you must apply by the deadline date for the testing window you select.
