CRNFA Certification by Exam Fees
To certify by exam, the fee for AORN members is $425, and $550 for non-members.
If you submit a late application, accompanied by an additional $75 late fee, no more than seven days after the deadline, you will still be eligible to continue the certification process.
Although you may deduct your CCI fee payments as business expenses, they're not deductible as charitable contributions. For individual assistance, contact your tax consultant.
Forfeiture of Fees
You must schedule and take the exam during the testing window you've chosen, or you'll forfeit all fees. Any of the following will result in forfeiture of the entire application fee:
- Failure to cancel the appointment with the testing organization within the required time.
- Failure to appear as scheduled to take the exam.
- Arrival at the testing organization for the exam without proper identification.
- Failure to achieve a passing score on the exam.
In any of those circumstances, you must repeat the entire application process, including payment of the application fee, to take the exam at a future date. You may test only once in each testing window.
Verification
Information on applications is subject to verification by authorized CCI personnel, who check each application for accuracy and reasonableness. Information gained through verification will be confidential except in instances in which the law requires disclosure of facts. Should any information on the application be found false, you’ll be notified and declared ineligible to continue the certification process.
Duplicate Certificate and Wallet Card
For a $10 fee, you may request a reprint of your certificate and wallet card by clicking on the button below, or calling the CCI office at (888) 257-2667. The process takes approximately two to three weeks, since we must send the request to an outside vendor for printing.
