CNOR Professional Portfolio

CNOR Reactivation by Portfolio Fee

To reactivate your CNOR credential using the Professional Portfolio, the cost is $295.

About the CNOR Professional Portfolio

A professional portfolio could be described as a scrapbook of your professional life. It requires that, in addition to participating in educational or professional activities, you also reflect and document how you have integrated learning from activities related to your practice. It is more than a list or log of your professional activities. It includes documentation of how you applied that learning to your practice.

To qualify for CNOR reactivation by the Professional Portfolio, you must have been previously certified as a CNOR and currently employed in perioperative nursing. You may view examples of appropriate documentation here.

Please contact us at (888) 257-2667 for an application, or download a copy, fill it out and send it in with all of the required information. The best way to return the application to us is to scan and email it to portfolio@cc-institute.org.

This competency-based portfolio incorporates the domains of perioperative nursing practice as identified by the Perioperative Nurse Competency Continuum Survey (CCI, 2006) and the CNOR Job Analysis (CCI, 2006).
