Application for CNOR Recertification by Contact Hours

If your current certificate shows your certification dates as 2005 to 2010 you may proceed to recertify.

Begin the online CNOR recertification application here. If you're recertifying and have been selected for an audit, you can submit an online application and mail or fax copies of your certificates to us. You may also elect to recertify using our paper application.

AORN DISCOUNT: To receive the AORN member discount you must provide your AORN User Name and Password, this is the User Name and Password you use on the AORN website. If you do not provide this information, you will be charged the non-member fee. CCI cannot process refunds.

Please note you must enter your contact hours into the CCI database before you proceed through the online recertification application process. If you click the back button or on any other links it will take you out of the application process. You must submit payment at the end of the application process or your application will not be received to be processed.

		I am currently certified in surgical nursing.

		I am currently licensed, without provision or condition, as a registered nurse in the country where I am currently practicing in surgical nursing.

		I have been employed as a part-time or full-time registered nurse at some time within the two years immediately prior to application. (This employment must be in surgical nursing and can be in an administrative, teaching, research or general staff capacity. See Eligibility page for approved positions.)

		I have worked a minimum of 500 hours in perioperative nursing within the five year recertification cycle.

A certain percentage of our members are randmonly selected to have their applications audited. If you have been selected for an audit you would have received a notification letter with the application packet that was mailed to you. Please indicate above if you were selected for an audit.
