New Contact Hour Earning Period for CNOR Recertification

 

Learn about the change in contact hour accrual period beginning January 1, 2011.

You are required to have 125 contact hours in order to recertify. Of the 125 required hours 75 of them must be related to surgical nursing .

Note any ACLS, PALS, BCLS, or BLS courses you list must be accompanied by a faxed or mailed certificate of completion. The certificate of completion must award you contact hours and have an accreditation statement that states it is accredited through an acceptable accredited provider.

"MedCEU" Alert Please be aware that the organization "MedCEU" aka "American Medical Education, Inc" is neither accredited by ANCC nor approved through any of the ANCC approvers and therefore cannot be used for CNOR or CRNFA recertification.
