CCI Accreditations

CCI is a member of the American Board of Nursing Specialties, an organization comprised of over 25 specialty nursing certification organizations. Your CNOR or CRNFA credential makes you one of more than 400,000 nurses who hold a credential from a nursing certification organization (CCI) that is accredited by
ABNS (American Board of Nursing Specialties). To learn more about the work ABNS does to advance the value of nursing certification, or for a list of ABNS members, please use the link above or go to www.nursingcertification.org.

In addition, your CNOR or CRNFA credential is backed by CCI's accreditation by the elite organization NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies), which is the accrediting body of NOCA (National Organization for Competency Assurance).

The only accrediting body specifically for nursing certification, ABNS advocates for consumer protection by establishing and maintaining standards for professional specialty nursing certification. Another of its important aims is to promote public awareness of the value of quality certification to healthcare consumers. Through its demonstrated compliance with seventeen ABNS standards, CCI has held this accreditation for five years.

NCCA is the leader in setting quality standards for credentialing organizations. CCI's accreditation by this elite organization indicates that it has met NCCA's strict standards and successfully completed its thorough peer review process.
