Value of Certification Research |
CCI has a great interest in finding evidence of the value CNOR and CRNFA credentials bring to the nursing community. The board of directors strongly believes that providing a research-based answer to the value of certification will provide meaningful and relevant information to its constituents.
Over the last several years, CCI research committees, along with headquarters staff and key research experts, have begun to answer the question of what operating room nurses value about CNOR and CRNFA certification. The results of our research can be found in published works, manuscripts currently in production, and key messages that are scientifically supported by this research. We have also provided a copy of the survey tool we used to conduct this research.
We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues, and if research is your field of expertise, we urge you to build on the work we have begun either through your own research, or by submitting an application to join future research committees. If you'd like to contribute to our work, please submit a willingness-to-serve application online.
To ask any questions about this project or the future of CCI research activities, please contact Shannon Carter, CCI Chief Executive Officer, at scarter@cc-institute.org.
