THE FUTURE OF LEARNING: Building a Bridge between Competency and Patient Safety
An invitation-only event slated for mid-June 2005, the CCI Think Tank is designed to bring together a cross-section of thought leaders from the areas of learning technology and methodology, academia, healthcare associations, competency coalitions, hospital systems, physician associations, healthcare, nursing research, and citizen advocacy. Due to the highly interactive nature of the event, space is limited to about fifty participants.
The two-day agenda will incorporate large and small group sessions, audience response technology, panel discussions, experiential learning, and review activities, as well as open-space facilitation with graphic recording to maximize the output from the participants, while capturing the event in real time.
The Think Tank will yield a vision for competency in healthcare over the next ten years, supported by active conversations with leading experts and a research and action agenda.
Focus
The CCI Think Tank is designed with a singular exploratory focus: How can we use the latest methods and technologies from the field of learning to build a bridge or holistic vision between competency development in healthcare and actual patient safety and quality patient care?
As a supporter of the CCI Think Tank, you will have a unique opportunity to be a part of a select group that together will build this vision for the future of competency development in healthcare, while advancing patient safety and the quality of patient care by utilizing cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies.
Exhibitor/Sponsorship Opportunities for industry partners range from $2,000 - $20,000. This is an opportunity for select companies to have their names affiliated with some of the industry leaders in competency and patient safety, as well as have the opportunity to dialogue with key stakeholders for the purposes of developing a data-driven research and development agenda.
